Among all the foods, the one we hear a lot about are:

Well, what are millets?

The truth is they are not a new improvement or an invention but they have been around for 10,000 years now.

These are variable-sized small seeds that have the tenacity to be grown in the extreme conditions of weather whereas crops like rice and wheat would require very high maintenance with irrigation facilities available throughout the year for a good yield.

They have a short season and can be easily grown in dry seasons. They are highly grown in the Asian regions and some of the parts in Africa. India happens to be one of the leading producers of it though.
